Evie G’s Sunshine Factory

Flowers and Community Enrichment

On February 24, 2024, we said goodbye to Evelyn Grace, our sweet daughter, following her stillbirth. Her Sunshine Factory is a place filled with flowers and an outpouring of love for others.

We understand the pain that baby loss can bring, and our goal is to provide a glimmer of sunshine to those navigating the shadows of infant sickness and loss.

Our Inspiration

We learned that Mack was pregnant with Evie on August 9, 2023. In her 32 weeks of gestation, she brought so much joy through her constant kicks and dancing and her love for strawberries - we couldn't get enough of them! While in the womb, she played in the waves of both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, a road trip through Glacier National Park, flights in helicopters and planes with both of her parents, and endless joyful story times and laughs with family and friends. We like to think she has a wonderful laugh and killer dance moves, and we feel her presence in the sun. She is all always will be Evie G, our beautiful sunshine girl.

Ways We Help

The Focus of Our Efforts

NICU Isolette Covers

We create custom NICU isolette covers (otherwise known as incubator covers) that help NICU babies sleep soundly by blocking light and sound. Our hope is to allow NICU babies the most rest possible and the best chance at life that they can have in the loud and bright NICU environment.  We are happy to work with loss families to create special isolette covers to donate in their baby's name.

Comfort Quilts

After losing Evie, we cherished a handmade blanket that a loved one made for her. While our arms were aching to hold our daughter, we held her blanket and knew we weren't alone. We aim to offer that same sense of solace to other families experiencing loss. We create comfort blankets and baby quilts for families to hold, as well as to store their baby's treasured items, including ashes, hand and foot molds, and photographs.
